For wiping a laptop or PC:
Load the blancco-usbcreator-4.6.0 software on your workstation and create the USB using the .ISO from the following directory:
\\NWDCFS01\IT Software\Blancco\PC Eraser\Windows\Configured ISO\GBI-bde-enterprise_volume-7.18.1.iso
Once the USB is created boot the system you want to wipe with it and it will do the rest. Try to do it from a wired connection if possible, but it will use wifi on the Goodfellow-Guest network if wired is not available.
For wiping a phone:
Load the blancco-usbcreator-4.6.0 software on your workstation and create the USB using the .ISO from the following directory:
\\NWDCFS01\IT Software\Blancco\Mobile Eraser\Blancco_Mobile_Device_Eraser_5.10.iso
Once the USB is created you can use a laptop that you have available and boot from this USB. It will require you to hit enter at the black and white boot menu aftere the initial boot screen times out or you hit enter. Then it will take a few moments to load. Once it comes up you can click on Skip Installation and it will just run from the USB booted version. Accept the EULA. If wired to the network it will just come up, if you need to use wireless you will get a screen that has the network card listed and you will need to selec the SSID as Goodfellow-Guest and then enter the password. The next screen will show you the IP it received, and you will want to change the Download HTTP test to Ping nad it should pass. Once that happens the software will finish loading.
Go into Settings and set you credenbtials to log into the Blancco portal, this is how it will check for licenses to be able to wipe the phones.
Connect the phone you wish to wipe.
You will need to unlock the phone to select Trust this compter. Once you do that the phone will show up on the screen.
By default it will select IOS Smart wipe. That will be fine.
